Arushi Kapoor is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Science and Engineering at the University of Texas and holds a Master’s of Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University. Her research bridges biotechnology and environmental science, focusing on microbial plastic degradation and water quality solutions. As a science communicator, she has led outreach for the Graduate Society of Women Engineers at Northwestern and participated in the ComSciCon 2025 Houston.
